Top 10 Wingers of 2015
It’s not always the case, but this season has certainly been a great year for wingers on NRLCEO.
The trouble is, it’s a bloody difficult position to pick! You just have to read our article on one-hit wonders to understand the difficulty.
A few people thought that Semi Radradra was one such one-hit wonder. After scoring 19 tries in 2014 which lead to 97 NRLCEO points many argued that defences would figure him out. Well after just 11 games so far in 2015 it’s fair to say the Semi-Trailer is here to stay. He is equal top try scorer in the NRL with 17 but has played six games less than most. His point scoring average of eight per game makes him the top ranked player on NRLCEO so far.
Ahead of him on overall points but behind on average scoring is Bulldogs ace Curtis Rona. The former Cowboys has been a surprise packet in the NRL and indeed NRLCEO. Scoring 17 tries in 17 games so far this season he has only missed out on points in three games. He was also the first player to crack the magical 100 point mark on NRLCEO this year.
Rounding out the top three is touch line specialist Alex Johnston. His form has been up and down so far this year depending on the number on his jersey. He scored 17 tries and 87 NRLCEO points in his debut season last year and looks set to get a similar number again this year. As long as he stays away from fullback.
