Round 19 Dream Team
The name Keith Lulia strikes fear into the heart of opposition wingers! Wait… No it doesn’t. So how does a bloke who had previously scored just 14 tries in 60 first grade games terrorise a team in the Top 4? Who knows! But he did! Four tries, three line breaks and just two tackles. Defence was simply not needed!
Corey Parker managed his second double workhorse of the year – his first since Round 2 earlier this year. Add to that two try assists, two line break assists and four conversions and you have a very complete performance. It’s his first time in double figures without conversions this year and leaves CEOs hoping he keeps up similar stats for the rest of the year.
Boyd Cordner was unlucky not to be even more dominant! He was just four involvements short of a double workhorse which would have given him the title of being the first ever NRLCEO player to score a “double-double” – two tries and a double workhorse. Nevertheless, his return of 13 points is still very profitable and his highest score of 2014 so far.
