Round 18 Dream Teams

Dream Teams

Round 18 Dream Team:

With 13 points in the first 15 minutes of the game, Blake Austin was on fire this week! It’s a shame he didn’t go on to score any more points, but he still tops the NRLCEO charts for this week.

In his 250th NRL game, Luke Lewis turned back the clock. With one try, a try assist, line break and a comfortable workhorse.

Another one on the long line of Warriors backs on the production line, David Fusitua had a hand in three tries scoring one himself. He’s scored in both of his games in 2015 and seven tries in 12 games last season. Pretty handy backup!

1. Brett Stewart – 11

2. David Fusitua – 11

3. Charly Runciman – 10

4. Tuimala Lolohea – 10

5. Akuila Uate – 10

6. Blake Austin – 13

7. Shaun Johnson – 9

8. Josh Papalii – 10

9. Andrew McCullough – 7

10. Adam Blair/Kade Snowden/Kenny Bromwich – 9

11. Luke Lewis – 12

12. Sam Thaiday – 9

13. Bodene Thompson – 9

Overall Dream Team:

The backline remains the same as last week, but Shaun Kenny-Dowall is actually even with Jack Reed on 69 points.

After his recent form revival scoring 35 points in the last three rounds, Shaun Johnson has made his way into the Dream Team for the first time this year. He pushes Johnathan Thurston out of the #7 jersey while he was on the bye.

In the front row, who needs workhorses when your prop is scoring so many tries! Josh Papalii now has seven tries for the season to go along with his ten workhorses.

Lastly, our podcast guest from last weekShaun Fensom, has used his appearance as inspiration to break his way back into the Dream Team. He now has 18 workhorses (including three DWH’s) and one try for the season.

But it’s Bodene Thompson and Andrew McCullough making waves as they race towards being the first player to crack 100 points for the NRLCEO season.

1. James Tedesco – 77

2. Curtis Rona – 95

3. James Roberts – 80

4. Jack Reed/SKD – 63

5. Semi Radradra  – 90

6. Blake Austin – 79

7. Shaun Johnson – 75

8. Josh Papalii – 82

9. Andrew McCullough – 99

10. Andrew Fifita – 81

11. Bodene Thompson – 96

12. Simon Mannering – 79

13. Shaun Fensom – 78
