Going for six in a Rowe
Kurtis Rowe is a good player no doubt, but watching him in a gun Tigers Under 20’s side, I didn’t see an NRL star fullback, which doesn’t mean he can’t be a good fullback after some time in NSW Cup.
His form in the NSW Cup has reportedly been average from some viewers.
My friend and big Wests Tigers fan, @NothingButWT says he has developed his ball playing skills beyond what they were in the Holden Cup.
Rowe played in the 20’s with Brooks, so he could still have some chemistry with the still eligible Holden Cup half.
Personally I hope I’m proved wrong, professionally (this isn’t a profession, I assure you) I would advise against starting the young guy, at least until I reach for a serving of humble pie. He could however, prove a valuable bench prospect for your CEO team for up to six week until Tedesco is back.
Meanwhile Apisai Koroisau has proved to be a pretty good replacement for Isaac Luke and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak looked good in trying conditions scoring a double on debut.
Of course it’s way to early to say whether DWZ will retain his spot over David Simmons. That hasn’t stopped speculation on Twitter however, but with a fair few weeks before that becomes and issue, I would suggest DWZ has enough ability for it to be possible.
David Bhana is a good young kid named on an extended bench that won’t get a start with the Warriors this week.
I’m sorry, I was excited about extended benches last week but my passion has dropped off a lot, because finally, my man, Moses Mbye collects another 19th man jersey. If this was the NFL another club would have traded for him and we would be talking about how he did last weekend.
Good luck NRLCEO’s hit me up on Twitter with any questions, @nycreportleague or visit my website for game reviews of the players your interested in, just click on the names on the right hand side.
