Round 11 Dream Teams

Looking at the best performances each week to determine the Team of the Week and using the player’s season totals to determine the overall Dream Team for 2016 on a week by week basis.

NRLCEO Team of the Week Round 11 2016

Round 11 Team of the Week:

Player of the Week in just your fourth first grade game. Pretty good effort! Fijian international Tyrone Phillips did just that and I managed to snap him up in my league despite wingers of any potential normally getting snapped up in seconds. The first hat-trick of his career netted his 15 points and top spot for the week.

Right behind him was Matt Gillett. The representative star scored his ninth double of his 140 game career and a workhorse for 14 points.

On the Gold Coast, Nathan Peats showed there is life after the Eels scoring his third highest NRLCEO score of his career on debut for the Titans. He scored a try and a double workhorse along with a line break to finish with 13 points.

Here is the Team of the Week for Round 11:

1. Ben Barba (11)
2. Tyrone Phillips (15)
3. Bryson Goodwin (11)
4. Dane Gagai (8)
5. Suliasi Vunivlau (10)
6. Blake Green (7)
7. Ben Hunt (6)
8. David Klemmer (8)
9. Nathan Peats (13)
10. Aaron Woods (7)
11. Matt Gillett (14)
12. Ryan James (11)
13. Elijah Taylor (10)

Note: points are based on tries (4), workhorses (4), double workhorses (8), try assists (2), line breaks (1), line break assists (1), metre eaters (2),  double metre eaters (4), field goals (1), 40/20’s (1), sin bins (-2) and send offs (-4)

NRLCEO Dream Team Round 11 2016

Overall Dream Team:

Each week we will accumulate the points for each player to come up with the Overall Dream Team for 2016.

Anthony Milford is in the nervous 90’s. So far he’s doing his best Steve Waugh impression of hanging around in the 90’s for as long as possible to build the tension. He let the game over the weekend go through for a maiden with his first zero point performance since Round 24 last year.

Unbelievably James Tedesco is still holding on to the fullback position. He’s still a try ahead of Ben Barba and Valentine Holmes and will be looking to return this week.

There are three new entries to the team this week. The first is Tigers centre Kevin Naiqama. He’s surprised many scoring six tries and four try assists for a total of 49 points.

Blues bolter (and then non-starter) Bryce Cartwright has made his way back into the Dream Team for the second time. His 54 points is a real spread of tries (4), try assists (2), line breaks (3), line break assists (3), workhorses (5) and metre eaters (4). A quality player to have in your side.

Lastly, Tohu Harris is another player back in the Dream Team. Craig Bellamy is giving CEOs nightmares by constantly naming him in the centres, but he keeps playing in the second row and hitting his workhorse targets.

Here is the full Dream Team after eleven rounds:

1. James Tedesco (71)
2. Jordan Rapana (74)
3. Bryson Goodwin (58)
4. Cameron Munster (57)
5. Valentine Holmes (69)
6. Anthony Milford (94)
7. Ben Hunt (61)
8. James Graham (81)
9. Cameron Smith (70)
10. Jake Trbojevic (61)
11. Ryan James (65) – NEW
12. Tohu Harris (67) – NEW
13. Sam Burgess (64) – NEW

Note: points are based on tries (4), workhorses (4), double workhorses (8), try assists (2), line breaks (1), line break assists (1), metre eaters (2),  double metre eaters (4), field goals (1), 40/20’s (1), sin bins (-2) and send offs (-4)

The write up on the Overall team hasn’t been updated.

Ryan James should be FR rather than BR. Has he even played in the BR this year?

This is true. But he’s eligible for both FR/BR so by the fact he can be picked in both we will name him in either. You’re probably right, but I’m not changing the image for this week 😉
