Round 9 Dream Teams

Looking at the best performances each week to determine the Team of the Week and using the player’s season totals to determine the overall Dream Team for 2016 on a week by week basis.

Round 9 Team of the Week:

After a few lofty weeks over the last few weeks the CEO scores were pegged right back this week!

The highest score of the round was Blake Ferguson with 15 points. His hat trick against the struggling Knights was complemented by a line break and metre eater. It was his first double figures return since Round 11 last year.

Closely followed behind was Bryce Cartwright who looked like he had spiders on him against the Raiders. He scored a try, had a try assist, two line break assists, a 40 involvement exactly workhorse and his 196 metres was just shy of a double metre eater.

An honourable mention to Cooper Cronk who scored 12 points. It was his second double for the year and his highest score of the year alongside a try assist and two line break assists.

NRLCEO Dream Team Round 9 2016

Overall Dream Team:

Each week we will accumulate the points for each player to come up with the Overall Dream Team for 2016.

Anthony Milford extended his lead to nine points over James Tedesco who won’t be contributing to his NRLCEO score for a few weeks now.

The first new entry to the Dream Team this week is Kevin Naiqama who had a stint in this team a few weeks back after a few quiet weeks but where he scored two tries in three weeks.

Melbourne youngster Cameron Munster is a brand new entry to the centres of this Dream Team. Although he has been playing fullback for the Storm he is eligible for centres on NRLCEO and has scored three tries, three try assists, seven line breaks, five line break assists and a massive 11 metre eaters in just nine rounds to nudge 50 points. He finished last year with 79 points so is already proving himself to be a very worthy NRLCEO scorer regardless of whether Billy plays or not.

Bryce Cartwright has been the name on all the lips in NRL Fantasy and Supercoach but he hasn’t quite made a dent in NRLCEO until now. His 14 point haul this week was only his second highest of the year but he’s now cracked the half century through a very evenly spread four tries, two try assists, three line breaks, three line break assists, four workhorses and four metre eaters. Excellent returns.

The last new face this week is Melbourne’s shaggy Tohu Harris. Despite switching between the centres and the back row a lot this year he is scoring very well. With two tries in the last two weeks his half century consists of three tries, one try assist, three line breaks, three line break assists, five workhorses and five metre eaters.
