Round 17 Dream Team

Rd 17 DT

Another shortened bye round this week leaves me a little bit unsatisfied, but at least we had some high scoring, tight tussles this week to keep us all on the edge of our seats.

Despite our formula not picking it up above, Jason Nightingale also smashed it into the player of the week position with a total of 15 points. His hat trick was typified by a number of acrobatic efforts which we have become to expect from the Kiwi international.

Everybody’s favourite grub Mick Ennis was back in the points this week in a big way too. A hard fought win against Manly where Ennis scored a try, workhorse, two try assists and a line break. A very complete performance and a reward for patient CEOs who had to go three weeks prior to this without a workhorse or even a point from the Dogs skipper.

James Graham gets plenty of fluffing from CEO addicts, but probably not a lot in real life. But he was magnificent in this game. Not only with the big red headed Pom score a try of his own, but with 38 tackles and 22 hitups he just managed to rewards CEOs with a double workhorse as well.

He is a former Bears, now Raiders tragic. A rangy lock who avoided running the ball at all costs, he once tackled (flopped on) John Hopoate. Web geek by day, web geek by night.
